Grief
Grief is the emotional reaction one undergoes when they experience a significant loss in their life. The process of grieving involves the emotional adjustment period undergone as the reality of the loss is integrated. Grieving is a normal and healthy response to loss, and should be fully embraced in order to fully heal. However, if one gets stuck in a place of grief, complications such as anxiety, depression, insomnia and eventually even chronic fatigue, weakened immune function and cardiovascular disease can occur. It is important to remember that feeling is healing; having feelings means you have a heart and it will heal...in time.
