Although primarily used internally, this tincture can also be applied topically.

Ingredients: Astragalus root (Astragalus membranaceus), Echinacea root (E. angustifolia), Lomatium root (Lomatium dissectum), Wild Indigo root (Baptisia tinctoria), Myrrh resin (Commiphora molmol), Poke root (Phytolacca decandra), Yarrow flower tops (Achillea millefolium), Cayenne pepper (Capsicum annuum).

Suggested Use

Restorative Tonic - Take 30 to 60 drops (one to two droppersful) in water 3 to 4 times daily. Preventative maintenance - Take 30 drops in water 2 to 3 times daily.
The three extracts described can be mixed in the same glass of water. They can be taken anytime during the day, with or without food.

Additional Supplements

BioFlora Probiotics: Replenishes good bacteria in the colon. Important if antibiotics are prescribed. Suggested use - Take 2 to 4 capsules daily on an empty stomach.

Nutrition

Beneficial Foods

Vegetables: Garlic and onion, sprouts, leafy greens, kale, chard, artichokes, and asparagus.
Seeds and Nutbutters: Sesame (tahini), sunflower, almond.
Legumes: Lentils, azuki, black bean, and split pea.
Poultry or Meats (raised organically): Chicken, turkey, duck, beef, lamb.
Fish (ocean-caught): Wild salmon, halibut, sardines, herring, and albacore tuna.
Cultured foods: Yogurt and kefir with acidophilus.
Healthy Oils: Extra virgin coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, flax seed oil.
Whole grains: Basmati rice (rinse well), wild rice, quinoa. They tend to be lower in starch than other grains.
Spices: Garlic, oregano, ginger, chives, cilantro, turmeric (curry powder), basil, thyme, rosemary, cinnamon.
Other: High omega-3 eggs (poached or soft-boiled) with DHA, B12, and Vitamin E.

Limit These Foods and Beverages

Baked goods containing yeast, and grains containing gluten, such as bread, pasta, wheat, oats, rye, and barley.
Fruits and concentrated fruit juices (diluted juice is better).
Dairy: Ice cream and frozen yogurt, milk, milk products (including reduced fat and non-fat).
Beverages: Soft drinks, diet drinks, tap water, alcoholic drinks.
Sweeteners: Agave syrup, barley malt, corn syrup, sugar, artificial sweeteners (aspartame, saccharin), and glucose.
Seafood: Shellfish, farm-raised fish.
Meat: Pork and pork products.
Caffeine: Black teas, coffee and chocolate.
